The Original Intention of The Fire Rescue Team
It’s already winter, and the fire department almost blows the north wind every day, hitting people’s faces like knives, causing a lot of pain. The place we are in is called the White House, located to the north, west, and south of the school, all covered in mountains. The north wind from faraway Siberia climbed over the mountain without feeling tired, but still blew vigorously, as if making a noise.
The place with the strongest wind is probably the west playground of our southern campus. Because there are no trees or tall buildings blocking here. Open and wide, standing on the playground effortlessly can see the full view of the distant mountain, which naturally becomes a place where the north wind plays happily. In the evening, we engage in our physical training in the wind, which is probably the most unique scene among the national fire brigade. 7、 Eight hundred or even over a thousand people trained together in this small area. On the 400m circular runway, all the people are covered in darkness, and that’s our student running 5km, Running 15km, under the row of tall poplar trees, there are people doing push ups. Looking east, on the single and parallel bars training ground, there are people practicing and waiting below the bars. The people standing in this area are the hope of the national comprehensive fire and rescue team.
In my heart. The most spectacular and beautiful scene is not our classmates flipping up and down on the single and parallel bars, but the people running non-stop on the circular track. On the 400m runway, everyone is pushing forward with all their might, unwilling to relax at all. Some people lean forward in order to lower their center of gravity, open their mouths wide, suck in the cool breeze into their lungs, exhale the only bit of heat in their bodies, and step forward step by step. Some people can recover, even on cold days without gloves or cold hats, only wearing shorts and quick drying clothes, strode forward with great strides, breathing hot air on their heads, like a steam locomotive driving at full speed, making their blood boil, Many young figures are also in this wind. They have only been in the firefighting and rescue team for more than three months and have already developed the “military flavor” they should have. The north wind is very cold, but their blood is very hot. “Put more effort on your feet, keep up with the class monitor, and don’t fall behind,” they thought. The air seemed to be insufficient, and their lungs seemed to explode. Even so, they were determined to take the next step. All of this is because of their original intention to join the firefighting and rescue team.
